Recently I've been studying fashion in past decades. I found the '60s and '70s to be quite inspiring. I may not be ready to take the plunge and test the fashion waters with bell-bottom jeans, a bold head-to-toe colored outfit (most of my closet consists of neutral tones) and psychedelic prints, but I am however ready to take inspiration from the two decades I find so fascinating and modernize the look. My first step was to find an item that would stand out like so many looks in the '60s and '70s did. So when I found this crazy cool red jacket in my mom's closet I knew it was a winner and perfect for the look I was trying to accomplish. Instead of all over color I found that if just one piece of the outfit was a bold color it would fulfill my modernized '60s/'70s checklist. I then decided that instead of bell-bottom jeans I would play it safe and stick with skinny jeans. I also don't own bell-bottom jeans. In my final attempts to complete this modernized '60s/'70s look I remembered that during my research I noticed women often wore point toe'd kitten heels. My point toe'd Miu Miu loafers came to the rescue yet again.
