A lot of you guys have asked that I make a post all about my new blue hair and give a little back story. So, I'm going to give you all the details!
First, we'll talk about the process: A couple of posts down you'll see a photo of my hair before the blue. It was bleached then toned twice in the hair salon I go to here in Pittsburgh.. and let's just say I was not happy with it (at all). The color was far too orange/brassy toned and I kind of wanted to cry every time I looked at it! Thankfully my hair savior and best friend (Jillian) worked her magic while I was in Los Angeles last week. There, my blue hair was born. I've never been so in love with my hair in my life! I'm completely and utterly obsessed!
Now, onto products used: When Jill was in London back in March she stopped by BLEACH London and picked up tons of colors including two different blues. When I arrived in Los Angeles last week we decided to stop by Sally Beauty Supply to check out the colors even though we already had some dye. There, I picked up the color Aqua by Color Brilliance. When we dyed my hair blue (keep in mind I didn't go to a salon to get the blue done) Jill mixed a little bit of blullini by BLEACH London in with the Aqua by Color Brilliance. After I let the color sit for 20 minutes I rinsed it out and used Macademia Deep Repair Hair Masque to soothe my hair after the chemicals from the dye. TA-DA! That's it!
